The USS President Coolidge is a legendary WWII wreck dive site off Espiritu Santo in Vanuatu, where the 654-foot luxury liner-turned-troopship sank in 1942 after striking friendly mines.  Accessible from shore and suitable for divers of all levels—from beginners exploring shallow sections to technical divers penetrating deeper holds—it’s packed with artifacts like rifles, jeeps, chandeliers, and the famous “Lady” porcelain statue.
