1. Flying to Espiritu Santo (the gateway to Aore Island)
The easiest way to reach Aore Island is to fly into Espiritu Santo (Luganville).
• Direct flights from Brisbane to Santo operate twice weekly with Solomon Airlines.
• Connecting flights from Sydney, Melbourne, and other Australian cities via Port Vila are available 6 days a week.
Alternatively, many visitors arrive by cruise ship and spend a full day exploring Aore Island paradise.
2. Arriving via Port Vila
If you fly into Port Vila first, we recommend spending a few relaxing days at a resort there before continuing to Aore Island. Enjoy poolside leisure and unwind before heading north to Santo and Aore Island.
3. Getting from Santo to Aore Island
Once in Espiritu Santo, there are two main departure points for Aore Island:
• Santo Hardware Wharf (northern tip of Aore Island)
• St Michel Landing (western side of Aore Island, perfect for Lapita Beach & Nemo Bay)
Taxis and buses from Luganville easily reach both locations.
4. Ferry Services to Aore Island
Reliable ferries and water taxis run daily between Santo and Aore Island.

5. Lapita Beach & Nemo Bay Access on Aore Island
For Lapita Beach on Aore Island, use the convenient St Michel landing (easily found on Google Maps).
A regular ferry also runs from Santo Hardware Wharf to Aore Resort. Note: Aore Resort often does not accept day guests, so we recommend booking ahead if you plan to visit their facilities.
